The Power of Three Technologies in Lipofirm RF Microneedling.

Utilising the unique Lipofirm Med platform, the minimally invasive treatment combines the technologies of VoluDerm, TriFractional RF and TriPollar with DMA (Dynamic Muscle Activation).

1. TriFractional RF

TriFractional radiofrequency energy rejuvenates the outer epidermis layer. This minimally invasive treatment creates triggers the body’s natural healing response mechanism. Old and damaged skin cells are removed and the body produces new and healthy skin.

2. VoluDerm

VoluDerm provides a safe and effective penetration of the epidermis for controlled heating targeting deep dermis. This minimally invasive treatment uses fine micro-needles while applying radiofrequency to volumise the deep dermal layer. The micro-needles stimulate the body to naturally produce hyaluronic acid, new collagen and elastin.

FAQs

Am I suitable for Lipofirm RF Microneedling?
The vast majority of adults aged 30+ with will be suitable for treatment. There are a small number of very limited contraindications for specific medical conditions. Should you have any questions regarding suitability, please contact the clinic.
How many Pyramid Facelift treatment sessions will I need?
For enhanced results multiple treatments are recommended. A course of 3 treatments at 4 weekly intervals is suitable for most patients, however this can vary depending on the individual skin condition and recovery rate of each patient.

The overall investment will vary from case to case depending on your desired outcomes and complexity of treatment, our skin expert will outline this with you at your consultation appointment having discussed your concerns and provided an examination, after which, we will provide a written treatment plan and estimate.

What are the risks of Lipofirm RF Microneedling?
After a Lipofirm RF Microneedling session, patients will typically experience a small degree of redness and swelling lasting 1-3 days post-treatment.

Less commonly, some patients will experience mild bruising and transient breakouts.

You will be able to resume your normal activities immediately post-treatment, however, it is advisable to avoid heavy exercise, hot baths or saunas for 2 days following the procedure.

What is the aftercare following a Pyramid Facelift treatment?
Avoid makeup and moisturiser for about 24 hours.

Typically, there will be a slight swelling or slight redness which may last 1-3 days.

During the first two days post treatment, extra care should be taken to keep the skin clean to avoid contamination or infection. Additionally, hot baths, massage or any mechanical or thermal damage to the treated area should be avoided.

Avoid touching your face post treatment- the channels are open for 90 minutes so any bacteria from your hands could get into the skin.

Use cool water with NO soap or cleanser to wash your face for 24 hours post treatment.

The only skincare product safe to use for 24 hours post treatment is a pure Hyaluronic acid serum to hydrate and reduce redness.

Avoid heavy creams, and serums for 72 hours post treatment.

Avoid exfoliating products for at least 7 days post treatment.

For best results you should follow a good skin care regime including a Vitamin C and Vitamin A. A bespoke regime will be recommended to you at the time of treatment.

Exposure to sunlight or tanning beds should be avoided and the treated skin should be covered with a high SPF sun screen. Tanning after treatment may cause change of pigmentation.

In case of excessive swelling, redness, or discomfort, area may be cooled using cold (not frozen) packs until heat sensation fades (about 15 min).

Tiny scabs will usually appear within 24 hours to 3 days post treatment. It is important not scratch the treated area or peel the scabs off the skin. These usually remain for several days. Scabs should be allowed to shed off naturally.
