Avoid makeup and moisturiser for about 24 hours.
Typically, there will be a slight swelling or slight redness which may last 1-3 days.
During the first two days post treatment, extra care should be taken to keep the skin clean to avoid contamination or infection. Additionally, hot baths, massage or any mechanical or thermal damage to the treated area should be avoided.
Avoid touching your face post treatment- the channels are open for 90 minutes so any bacteria from your hands could get into the skin.
Use cool water with NO soap or cleanser to wash your face for 24 hours post treatment.
The only skincare product safe to use for 24 hours post treatment is a pure Hyaluronic acid serum to hydrate and reduce redness.
Avoid heavy creams, and serums for 72 hours post treatment.
Avoid exfoliating products for at least 7 days post treatment.
For best results you should follow a good skin care regime including a Vitamin C and Vitamin A. A bespoke regime will be recommended to you at the time of treatment.
Exposure to sunlight or tanning beds should be avoided and the treated skin should be covered with a high SPF sun screen. Tanning after treatment may cause change of pigmentation.
In case of excessive swelling, redness, or discomfort, area may be cooled using cold (not frozen) packs until heat sensation fades (about 15 min).
Tiny scabs will usually appear within 24 hours to 3 days post treatment. It is important not scratch the treated area or peel the scabs off the skin. These usually remain for several days. Scabs should be allowed to shed off naturally.
