The power to renew, already inside you

Regenerative aesthetic treatments that harness your body’s own biology – using your plasma and natural growth factors to support skin quality, collagen and a healthier-looking complexion. Autologous and regenerative aesthetics work by using components drawn from your own body to support your skin’s natural renewal.

‘Autologous’ simply means derived from your own body. In aesthetics, that usually involves taking a small sample of your blood, preparing it to concentrate its most useful components, and then applying or injecting it back into your skin.

These regenerative therapies are designed to work with your body’s natural processes – supporting collagen production and improving skin quality and restoration over time. Because the material comes from you, the risk of an allergic reaction is very low, which is a large part of their appeal.

At Skin Logic we offer three approaches within this family – PRP, PRF and Plasma Gel – each suited to slightly different goals. Results build gradually and vary between individuals, so a consultation is always the starting point.

  • Naturally derived – uses components from your own body rather than synthetic materials.
  • Low risk of allergic reaction – because the material comes from you.
  • Supports your collagen – designed to encourage your skin’s own collagen production over time.
  • Improves skin quality – aims to support texture, firmness and overall radiance.
  • Versatile – can be used across the face and delicate areas such as the under-eyes.
  • A more natural philosophy – appeals to those seeking a biologically led approach within aesthetics.

How do they work?

When platelets are concentrated and activated, they release growth factors – the signalling proteins your body naturally uses to repair tissue and build new collagen. Delivered into the skin, these growth factors are designed to kick-start your natural renewal processes, gradually supporting firmer, fresher, better-quality skin. It’s a genuinely concentrated approach: research notes that the PRP preparation process typically raises the platelet count in a small volume of your plasma to around four to seven times its normal level – delivering a rich dose of those regenerative growth factors.

Our regenerative treatments

Prp Therapy

PRP – Platelet-Rich Plasma (Vampire Facial)

Sometimes known as the ‘vampire facial’, PRP uses a concentrated portion of your own blood, prepared by spinning it in a centrifuge, which is then applied or injected into targeted areas. It’s our most established regenerative treatment for supporting skin rejuvenation and encouraging your skin’s natural renewal.

Prf Treatment

PRF – Platelet-Rich Fibrin

A newer evolution of platelet therapy, PRF forms a natural fibrin matrix that releases growth factors more slowly and steadily over time. Its gentle, gradual action makes it a popular choice for delicate areas such as the under-eyes, and it may support gradual improvements in skin quality.
Plasma Gel Filler London

Plasma Gel – Autologous Filler

Plasma gel is created by processing components of your own blood into a soft, gel-like substance. Used as a natural, autologous filler, it can provide subtle volume while supporting your skin’s natural response.

Care that starts with a conversation

These treatments are carried out by trained practitioners in a clinical setting – and always begin with a consultation and health assessment, so we can understand your skin, your goals and whether a regenerative treatment is right for you. We’ll also be honest about what to expect. Regenerative therapies work gradually, with results building over weeks and across a course of sessions, and outcomes genuinely vary from person to person. We’d rather give you a realistic picture than over-promise – and if a treatment isn’t right for you, we’ll tell you.

FAQ

They’re treatments that use components from your own body – typically drawn from a small blood sample – to support your skin’s natural renewal. ‘Autologous’ means ‘from yourself’, and because nothing synthetic is introduced, the risk of an allergic reaction is very low.
Yes – ‘vampire facial’ is the popular nickname for a PRP treatment. PRP (platelet-rich plasma) concentrates the platelets from your own blood and returns them to your skin, often with microneedling, to support natural rejuvenation.
Both use your own blood, but they’re prepared differently. PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) is spun more gently and without additives, forming a fibrin matrix that releases growth factors more slowly and steadily. That gentle, gradual action makes PRF a popular choice for delicate areas like the under-eyes.
You’ll feel a small scratch when your blood sample is taken, similar to any blood test. For the treatment itself, we can use numbing to keep you comfortable; most people describe it as very manageable. Comfort varies from person to person.
Because these are regenerative treatments, results build gradually rather than appearing instantly, and a course of sessions is usually recommended for the best outcome. How long results last varies between individuals; your practitioner will suggest a realistic plan and any maintenance.
Using your own blood means the risk of allergic reaction is very low. That said, these are medical procedures, carried out by trained practitioners after a health assessment, and some short-lived redness or bruising is normal. They’re not suitable for everyone, which is why a consultation is essential.
They’re popular across the face and for areas that tend to show age, such as the under-eyes, neck and décolleté. Plasma gel can also be used to add subtle volume. We’ll advise what suits your skin at your consultation.
