Online Shop
The following terms apply to all purchases of products made through our online shop, in addition to the website terms of use above. Where there is any conflict between this section and another part of these terms in relation to an online product purchase, this section will take precedence.
The contract between us
These terms apply to your purchase of products from our online shop. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
When you place an order, you will receive an email acknowledging that we have received it. This acknowledgement does not mean your order has been accepted. Your order is an offer to buy from us. A contract between you and us is only formed when we send you an email confirming that we have dispatched the product (“Dispatch Confirmation”). The contract relates only to those products confirmed in the Dispatch Confirmation.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order — for example, where the product is unavailable, where we identify an error in the price or description, or where we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment. If we cancel your order after payment has been taken, we will refund you in full.
Products
We make every effort to ensure that the products shown on our website are accurately described and depicted. However, the colour, packaging and presentation of products may vary slightly from the images shown. All products are subject to availability.
Certain products contain active ingredients (for example retinol or acid-based formulations) and are intended for adult use. By ordering such products you confirm that you are 18 years of age or over. It is your responsibility to read the product description, ingredients and usage guidance, and to ensure a product is suitable for you before use. If you are unsure whether a product is appropriate for your skin, we recommend you seek advice from a suitably qualified practitioner before purchase or use. The information provided with our products is not a substitute for professional medical advice.
Price and payment
The price of any product will be as quoted on our website, except in cases of obvious error. Prices include VAT (where applicable) but exclude delivery charges, which are added to the total amount due and shown to you before you place your order.
Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders for which we have already sent a Dispatch Confirmation.
Our website contains a large number of products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some may be incorrectly priced. If the correct price of a product is higher than the price stated on our website, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatching, or reject your order and notify you. We are under no obligation to supply a product at the incorrect lower price.
Payment is taken at the time you place your order via our payment provider. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. By submitting an order you confirm that the payment details provided are valid and that you are authorised to use them.
Delivery
We deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom. Delivery costs and estimated timescales are shown at checkout and will be confirmed in your order acknowledgement.
We aim to dispatch orders promptly, but any delivery dates are estimates only and we are not liable for delays in delivery caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery to the address you provide. Ownership of the products passes to you once we have received full payment.
If no one is available to take delivery, the courier will follow its standard procedure, which may include leaving the parcel with a neighbour, in a safe place, or at a collection point.
Your right to cancel (cooling-off period)
If you are a consumer, you have the right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 to cancel your order within 14 days of the day you (or someone you nominate) receive the products, without giving any reason.
To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision to cancel before the 14-day period expires by a clear statement — for example, by emailing us at clinic@skinlogicaesthetics.co.uk with your name, order number and the products concerned.
If you cancel, you must return the products to us without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel. You are responsible for the cost of returning the products and for taking reasonable care of them while they are in your possession. We may reduce your refund to reflect any loss in value caused by unnecessary handling.
We will refund the price you paid for the products, together with the standard delivery cost (we do not refund any extra cost arising from your choice of a more expensive delivery option). We will process the refund within 14 days of receiving the returned products, or, if earlier, within 14 days of receiving evidence that you have returned them. Refunds are made using the same payment method you used to place the order.
Exceptions — products that cannot be returned on hygiene grounds
For health protection and hygiene reasons, the right to cancel does not apply to sealed cosmetic, skincare or personal care products that have been unsealed or opened after delivery. This means that once a product’s seal, wrapping or packaging has been broken, it cannot be returned or refunded under the cooling-off period unless it is faulty or not as described.
This does not affect your legal rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods (see below).
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If a product you receive is faulty, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered, please contact us at clinic@skinlogicaesthetics.co.uk within a reasonable time of discovering the issue, with your order number and details (and photographs where relevant).
Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, damaged or incorrect, you are entitled to a replacement or a full refund (including the original delivery cost and any reasonable cost of returning the item), in accordance with your statutory rights. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.
How to contact us about online orders
For any questions, cancellations or returns relating to an online order, please email clinic@skinlogicaesthetics.co.uk, quoting your order number.
Complaints Policy
We take all our complaints seriously. Complaints should be made by e-mail to the manager of Skin Logic Aesthetics & Laser Clinic on clinic@skinlogicaesthetics.co.uk. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 48 hours.
Changes to Legal Notice
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to change the Terms and Conditions at any time by posting the changes on the Site. We may, with or without prior notice, terminate any of the rights granted by these Terms and Conditions. You shall comply immediately with any termination or other notice, including, as applicable, by ceasing all use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions will create an agency, partnership, or other form of joint enterprise between us.
